  • Place the Canon Pixma printer box on its side and cut the tape holding the flaps together.
  • Remove the Canon Pixma device’s power cable, ink cartridges, Canon driver CD, and user manual from the box.
  • Pull the Canon Pixma device package out of the box and place it in an upright position on the table.
  • Grab the styrofoam cushions from the side of the Pixma device and then remove the plastic cover from it.
  • Peel off the tape from the Canon Pixma TS9500 device. Remove the protective film from the control panels of the printer.
  • Open the Canon Pixma printer’s cartridge access door.
  • Remove the Canon Pixma TS9500 printer cartridges from the box, remove the protective tabs, and place them in the slots. Push them into their slots until they lock in place. Close the cartridge access door.
  • Raise the Canon device’s paper input tray, place a paper stack in it, and extend the paper output tray.
  • Attach the Canon Pixma printer’s power cable into the Canon device and a power outlet. Press the Power button.
  • Install the Canon Pixma driver software on your computer and follow the on-screen prompts to print a document.
